Background Information

Paul Pogba was born on the 15 March 1993, in Lagny-sur-Marne, France. Pogba is the youngest in his family and has twin brothers, Florentin and Mathias. Interestingly, Paul Pogba is the only child with French citizenship, while the rest of his family are French immigrants from Guinea.

Pogba's mom brought up Pogba in a town in France called Roissy-en-Brie. Where Pogba first found his passion for soccer by playing at US Roissy-en-Brie, at the young age of 6. Paul's dad discovered that his son was talented at football and gave him the necessary advice to Paul to have a successful career in football. Interestingly, Pogba's dad wanted to be a professional football, but unfortunately, his career failed, and luckily for Paul and his brothers, Paul's dad was able to teach them to be better than he was.

It took Pogba six years into his football career to reach his first big break and was recruited by the US Torcy u13 team, whom he captained. This is where Paul discovered his need to win, and would cry when his team lost. After a couple of successful years at FC Torcy Pogba got a move to Le Havre and was selected for France's U16 team, where he was their captain. Pogba would continue to go up the ranks until he reached the Le Bleu's.
